Stories From the Bridge

Joy has vanished because your best friend is gone.

Pain feels like a prickly blanket that is wrapped around you for days, weeks, even years.

You have a wavy sensation in your stomach and your heart feels like it’s filled with concrete.

Not everyone views or deals with loss in the same way.

I’m one of those dog moms who some would describe as ‘over the top’ with my displays of grief.

Too bad.

Are you like that?

If so, I invite you to have a compassionate conversation with me on Google Meet.

One box of Kleenex or two, doesn’t matter.

Please come prepared.

I’m no stranger to the pain of losing a cherished dog.

No judgement of your grief process from me.

Perhaps tears. Who knows?

“This is peer support, not counseling or therapy.”

Sometimes it’s hard to find people who “get you” as far as the way you deal with grief.

This will be compassion from one dog lover to another.

If I can help, email me. We can find a time to hop on Google Meet.
